Abstract:
This study entitled the effect-character in La Mante religieuse of Jamel Ali-Khodja exposes, in the order of a memory master, a multidisciplinary analysis of the main character to considerate it as an effect which has many effects. Approached with different analysis, psycho-critical, socio-historical, ideological, transtextual and auto-fictional, this character is seen as the effect
(product) of a conflict society, between revolutionary, social, ideological and textual heritages. It leaves in the reader a critical effect for requesting about its resources before considering it as the central axis of the evolution of this
novel's speech, which has the post independent Algeria as social and historical reference.
