Abstract:
The objective of this work is the theoretical study of thermal photovoltaic solar
collectors with cylindro-parabolic concentrator and heat exchanger to increase the efficiency
of the cylindrical system and cools the solar panels and heat the heat transfer fluid. In this
work, we have established two distinct models: the first uses air as heat transfer fluid and the
second uses water as coolant.
Both models make it possible to calculate the average temperature of the fluid and the
photovoltaic cells as well as the efficiency of the system, with a modification of the external
and internal factors such as the flow and the height of the air channel for the air and the
hydraulic diameter for the water.
The results obtained allow us to know the effects of the external parameters on the efficiency
of the system and to determine the characteristics of each system, the results are satisfactory
and published in well indexed scientific journals.
