Abstract:
This work is a contribution to electrochemical synthesis of four organic conjugated polymers. The four materials studied, poly(2,7-bis[(thien-2-yl)cyanovinyl]-9,9-dipentylfluorene) (PFPT), poly(2,7-bis[(2,3-dihydrothieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-5-yl)cyanovinyl]-9,9-dipentylfluorene) (PFPE), poly(2,7-bis[(3,5-dithien-2-yl)cyanovinyl]-9,9-dipentylfluorene) (PFPBT), le poly(2,7-bis[(furan-2-yl)cyanovinyl]-9,9-dipentylfluorene) (PFPF), were synthesized and characterized by several experimental techniques such as infrared, UV-visible and
photoluminescence. The four polymers present low gap values estimated from HOMO and LUMO energy levels. Infrared analysis confirms the polymerization and doping phenomenon.
