dc.description.abstract In this manuscript we interested in the development of reactions with multicomponent producing novel molecules through studying the efficiency of new catalysts. This thesis consists of two main parts: The first part has been devoted to the study of the Petasis reaction of and its applications to the synthesis of novel structures which could exhibit interesting biological properties. The first application of the Petasis reaction was the preparation of the novel 2- hydroxy-1,4-benzoxazine derivatives, developing a novel method of synthesis by using an ionic complex which was PPTS as a catalyst. For the second application of the Petasis reaction, a series of novel α-arylglycine derivatives was prepared. In the second part of this work, two new rapid methods have been developed for the synthesis of organophosphorus derivatives via multicomponent reactions. The first developed method was the nanocatalyzed synthesis which has been used for the preparation of (2-amino- 3-cyano-4H-chromen-4-yl) phosphonates derivatives. The second method was microwave-assisted synthesis which has been employed for the preparation of novel pyrazolylphosphonate derivatives. These molecules which are bearing pyrazole skeletons could possess wide variety of pharmacological properties.
