Abstract:
In this manuscript we are interested in the development of multi-component reactions by studying the catalytic power of new catalysts on some of them: the Mannich reaction and synthesis of β- amino carbonyl compounds.
In the first part ,we studied the effect of three catalysts, which are Silica-supported Antimony (III) chloride, the phenylboronicacid and Polyethylene glycol 600 on Mannich reaction which gave the β-amino Ketones with good yields in generel.
In the second part, our research was focused on the develop the new structures via the cascade Maillard-Hantzsch , another class of heterocycles with very interesting biological and medicinal properties, using a phenylboronic acid as catalyst, which may have the advantage of being no-toxic, low-cost and easily work-up. The obtained yields are good to excellent.
