Abstract:
The objective of our work was the study of the catalytic effect of three catalysts bearing different properties on one-pot Biginelli and Biginelli-like reactions:
- With metal- nitrate as catalysts, we have demonstrated that it is the property of Bronsted acids, obtained by transformation of Lewis acids in aqueous media, which expressed the catalytic power.
- With a basic catalysis by triphenylphosphine, the latter expessed its nucleophilic power rather than its basic properties and we have demonstrated that it is the base formed in situ by the nucleophilic action which initiated the basic catalysis.
- With the ionic liquids, the activation of the reaction is observed through the synergy of the cocktail of their properties.
