Abstract:
The analysis of the urban development policy in Algeria inevitably leads us to review the
stages of this one. The current situation foresees the interference of even more diverse
forms of space occupation.
At present, the urbanization of cities through ecological planning has become more than a
necessity for comprehensive and sustainable development at the local, regional and even
national levels.
For this reason, almost all Algerian cities have, through their urban policies, directed the
creation of new forms of urbanization of their cities, whose objective is to limit the
extensions made to the detriment of agricultural lands, and also reduce the rural exodus, ...
etc.
Likewise solve some of the problems of congestion as well as a multitude of ecological
problems that their big cities knew.
Our study is much more interested in Arab countries, where ecological urban planning has
become a strategic choice imposed by population growth.
For this, there was a need to readjust the ecological standards to new forms of future
extensions to avoid the appearance of problems of various pollution in the current
agglomerations. This requires us to set special standards of pollution levels to ensure a
healthy and hygienic environment for humans.
From this, this study is only an introduction to determine some ecological considerations
that have a relationship with the planning and design standards of cities that must be taken
into account when creating new urban agglomerations in our area.
And to concretize what has already been mentioned, we manage to give some
recommendations that must be taken into account to limit the degradation of the ecological
situation and to participate in the construction of healthy and healthy cities.
