Abstract:
The first objective of this work is devoted to the study of strategies for the
synthesis of azo-compounds and their derivatives, among other things, highlighting
"the properties of azo dyes" known for their importance and usefulness in Sanitaryagro-industrial areas. The content of this thesis is based on a modest contribution to
the study of a certain class of azo-compounds bearing the chromophore -N = N- is
subdivided as follows:
- The first part is a presentation of the main dyes and the classical reactions that
characterize them.
- The second part deals with the synthesis of a series of azo compounds. With
the identification of the major groups of these compounds by NMR1H,
NMR13C and infra red thus a structural study on some dyes obtained.
- In the third part, we will describe the synthesis pathway which led us to
obtain Tris (E) -1- (o-tolyldiazenyl) naphthalen-2-ol} cobalt (III)
[(C17H13N2O)3Co].C4H8O] An analytical study and structural analysis of the
complex obtained.
- The fourth part is devoted to the solvatochromic study of a series of prepared
and purified structures illustrated by the corresponding curves highlighting
the quantitative variations of the various coexisting tautomeric forms in
relation to the polarity of the solvent.
- Finally, a general conclusion summarizes the main results obtained through
the study of different experimental and characteristic parameters of some azo
dyestuffs.
