Abstract:
The whole of this work is a characterization of the micro band antennas with and
without excitation by the technique of the spectral domain. The solution of a single
microstrip antenna is applied to an array of antennas. The analysis is based on an integral
method using the spectral tensor of Green function and the method of moments. As a
resolution tool, we used the Galerkin procedure, where we injected three specific basic
functions for the shape of the isosceles, equilateral and rectangular patch. We have also
demonstrated the effect of the uniaxiale anisotropy of the substrate on the resonance
frequency and observed the effect of the position of the feed probe on the input impedance
of the antenna. Finally, we were interested to plot the radiation patterns of the array of
antennas with triangular patches taken in a circular arrangement and then in a rectilinear
arrangement by varying the number of elements N of the network, the distance between
elements d, the phase shift of the elements current δ and the steering angle θ0.
