dc.description.abstract The aim of this study, which be longs to the area of comparative studies, is to examine cultural and literary relations and dialogues. Existentialism, as a literary and philosophical trend of the 20 th century is based on the following In this world, we are free to choose our existence and our destiny. -This has been clearly stated in the book of Sartre: The Existentialism is Humanism. -What is strange and absurd are things we live and we search for. -Equality of Women and Men is obvious as Simon de Beauvoir insists in her research: Second Sex. In the Algerian literature, Existentialism has occupied remarkable position, notably in the cultural milieu this beet con be reflected through the writings of Rachid Boudjedra who insists in his books and novels: -Engagement and situations, especially when it is related to the Palestinian issue which makes allusion to the writings of Sartre notably: concerning the Jewish issue. -Revolution, as a domain of discussion, appears mainly in: Nights of sleepless women. -Absurdity in: Timimoune, gives us the need to go through Camus: The Adulthood women. In the beginning, Existentialism was considered as a philosophy which is firmly chose to thoughts related to citizenship and revolution against the new forms of colonism.
