This thesis deals with one of the most important freedoms involving individuals in an organized framework with regard to the freedom of information discussed in two aspects.
First, we have examined the position of the constitution and institutions starting with how the latter deal with the freedom of information to the establishment of press and media institutions, as well as the content of the information through the mechanisms of the penal
and administrative control systems in place.
In a second stage, this research strives to evaluate the system of the legislative framework governing freedom of information in Algeria and Morocco in comparison with international standards of freedom which is set out in international texts. It has also tried to highlight some elements of convergence or divergence between the Algerian and Moroccan legislation related to the right to information and freedom of the press in reference to the progress of international law.
