The judicial police is a body set up by the Algerian legislature, like other leading world procedural legislation, to deal with the criminal phenomenon, as it plays, through the powers conferred on it by the legislature, an effective role in preparing public prosecutions and assisting the competent judicial authorities in the repression of criminals. In addition to the powers and tasks that the legislator has granted to the judicial police, the suspect in place of these procedures has allowed a set of guarantees that limit the abuses that members of the judicial police may commit when carrying out research and investigation, and to this end he has subjected his activities to the subordination and control of the judicial authorities, without forgetting his determination of personal responsibility for the law The member breaches the research and investigation procedures. Through this study, we have tried to find out these powers, duties and restrictions on their health and responsibility for their violations, in order to ensure a balance between the fight against crime without infringing the suspect's individual rights and freedoms.
