الخلاصة:
This study has been realized between January and April 2005. The number of birds taken in this study was 723. The birds were dispatched by some private and public exploitations located in the East of Algeria. Each sample received in the laboratory was accompanied by a form containing several data related to the owner and his husbandry.
10.51 % was the proportion of birds presenting macroscopic lesions, without considering neither the age nor the speculation type. These lesions, observed on different vital systems and organs, had different origins such as microbiological and nutritional factors.
Indeed, the role of autopsy in the diagnosis of poultry diseases is primordial, but must be
completed by serological and bacteriological investigations.
