dc.description.abstract An analytical method to identify and quantify antibiotic residues of penicillin G and chloramphenicol in milk by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was developed. The experimental investigation developed following conditions: The penicillin work conditions are: The antibiotics were dissolved in acetonitrile at a concentration of 0.15 mg/ml, The column used was VP-ODS C18, the mobile phase was made up of methanol, a flow rate of 1 ml/min, UV detection at 250 nm, injection volume of 20 µl and run time of 8 min. The chloramphenicol work conditions are: The antibiotics were dissolved in methanol at a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml, the column used was VPODS C18, the mobile phase was made up of methanol, a flow rate of 1.4 ml/min, UV detection at 272 nm, injection volume of 20 µl and run time of 10 min. Then the results were validating by tests of: repeatability, reproducibility and linearity of calibration curves.
