Abstract:
Located in historic Transylvania, the Târnava Mare basin was always an attraction
both in social and natural terms. The study area consists of a numerous set of physicalgeographical
specific characters that represent genetic elements of the forming process and
manifestation in time and space of the hydrological regime of the mainstream and tributaries
water, thus highlighting diverse morphometric natural setting.
