الخلاصة:
This study aims at understanding the role of public relations
and its regulating principles in university libraries .The focus is on the
central library of Batna; hadj lakhdar university in which we can
address two questions as a case study of the research ; the first is about
the relations between the users and the service providers at thelibrary ; the second is about the way these relations to be are exploited
in order to improve access to the information available at the
university library in a satisfying way .
In order to realize this goal ; this study assumes that librarians
have to take care of elements such as gaining users fidelity and loyalty
through enacting good public relations strategy based on efficient
resource management and reliance on expertise.
In the other hand; users have to appreciate the useful and
inventionally good components of the librarian public relations
strategy helping in a questionnairy way to improve the ability of this
Library and provide satisfactory service.
The study concludes to a result, which is the importance of
inplanting public relation office in order to help both librarians and
users to improve the quality of the service.
