dc.description.abstract In this work, we made monocrystals of KH2PO4 (KDP) doped with semiconductors nanocrystals II-VI (CdSe).KDP crystals were grown by lowering method, from the aqueous solution added with CdSe. The structural characterization by X ray diffraction (XRD) confirms the presence of CdSe in the metals. The transmittance in FIR region shows the peaks relative to longitudinal optical phonon frequency and transversal optical frequency. Characterizations by optical absorption of samples of UV-Visible region confirm the presence of CdSe nanocrystals. Raman Scattering spectroscopy has reveals a response of our KDP samples to a luminous excitation. According to the results, samples can be considered as laser active mediums. Characterization by photoluminescence at room temperature show two peaks in the vicinity of gap of CdSe
