dc.description.abstract Poly N-Vinylcarbazole (PVK) is one of the most of ten used polymer host materials for optoelectronic devices based on molecularly doped s ystems, due to its good film forming properties, relatively high hole mobility, and larg e highestoccupied molecular orbital, lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (HOMO-LUMO). Since pu r PVK has poor electrontransporting properties. In this work, we present an important synthesis of some of monomers of alkenyl carbazole unsubstituted and substituted in pendent carbazolic group. These monomers are synthesized, in order to put oth er functions, to polymerize them and to use them in making charge transfer complexes materials. The N-alkenylcarbazole having a short aliphatic chain has been polymerized before, with a great difficulty; either by radical, anionic or by Ziegler-natta systems. The less activity of N-Al lyl carbazole is due to the steric effects and to its deficiency in stability by resonance. Aiming to enhance the reactivity of the monomer, we introduced some constituents, attractor of electron ; aiming by this to diminish the influence of the carbazolic groupe on the double bonds of the al iphatic chain and hopping that we will obtain polymers that manifest some photoelectric activitie s.
