In this manuscript, we were interested in the development of the multi-component
reactions by the study of the catalytic power of some catalysts on the reaction of Biginelli, the
reaction of Hantzsch and the synthesis of pyrano[2.3-c]pyrazoles.
The first chapter concerns the synthesis of the 3,4-dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs)
based on the general reaction of Biginelli, which is considered as one of the most important
MCRs, by using two catalysts: the Copper acetate (Lewis acid) and Pyridinium-ptoluenesufonate (complex liquid).
The second chapter is dedicated to the synthesis of a range varied by 1,4-
dihydropyridines (or DHPs) according to the general reaction of Hantzsch with some
modifications, which imply (involve) the absence of solvent and the use of " the salicylic acid
(carboxylic acid) and of Pyridinium-p-toluenesufonate " as an unusual catalyst of this reaction.
The third chapter concerns the catalytic study of two new catalysts in the synthesis of
pyrano[2.3-c]pyrazole, which are not only available, but also little expensive and little toxic,
namely: "phenylboronic acid and triphenylphosphine ". |
