Abstract

The aim of this research is to underline the importance of the track information systems in business company and identify the role of information specialist in the track process and also to identify the real situation of SOMIK company – SONATRACH- SKIKDA. The first aspect of our theoritical and portrays the business company and their environnement and making decision, also identify the information systems in business company. We insist on the track information systems in company and method of their making. In the last chapter, we identify the role of information specialist as tracker in the track process. The second aspect of our work is a survey that aims at investigating the existence of track information systems and the role of information specialist in the track process in SOMIK company – SKIKDA.One questionnaire and interview administered to the company personnel have helped us to gather significant data to get results that confirm the hypotheses stated.These results show the existence of track information systems, also that the information specialist play his role very well. In the end, we point out the main results of our research insisting on the necessity to apply the track in the company in order to protect their existence and the necessity to recruit a specialists in order to occupy this mission.
