dc.description.abstract The reinforcement of the slopes became a paramount operation in Algeria considering the problems caused by the phenomenon of landslides. To date, several studies are under development by the Algerian universities to find a solution with this phenomenon, among these studies, the slope stabilization reinforced by piles. The present study aims to better apprehend the behavior of the slopes reinforced by piles, all present of them initially the various methods available in the literature for the study of the stability of the slopes not reinforced and the slopes reinforced by piles, primarily the methods based on balance limit and others based on the limit analysis. For the simulation part, one presents a short outline on the code of finite elements PLAXIS followed of a study of stability of a slope according to the positioning of the piles. A parametric study on a model chosen as reference is at the end carried out. One varies each time the parameter to be compared. We interested with geotechnics parameters. The comparison is presented by curves for each parameter.
