dc.description.abstract Our research work is titled on elasto-optical interactions on the matter which, as the name suggests, these are the interaction between light and sound waves. The technique used in this work is the Brillouin spectroscopy. This is a very good technique that allows us to determine the frequency of the sound waves in different materials due to its high sensitivity for the detection of thermally excited phonons. Among the common applications in the measurement of acoustic waves on Microsystems such as the nanocomposites or samples of small dimensions as the section of optical fiber.
