To detect a change or a climate variability, an analysis of climate’s variabilisation was performed on 13 stations in our study area over a period of 50 years (1961-2010).
Two trends have affected our study area, the first is a downward trend in temperatures which expands over 16 years with a decrease of 1.44 ° C, the second is an upward trend in temperatures which expands over 34 years with an increase of 1.33 ° C.
The temperature variability over 75 years (Seltzer’s period included) shows that the temperature has raised by 0.22 ° C
between (1913-1938 and 1986-2010), then decreased by 0.75 ° C between (1913-1938 and 1961-1985) and raised again by
0.97 ° C between (1961-1985 and 1986-2010).
Rainfall variability for 50 years indicates the presence of wet cycles with a number of six and dry cycles with a number of four. The pluviothermic Emeberger quotient shows that all stations in the study area have a tendency to aridifier.Constantine’s station remains the most stable station in the study area. |
