Abstract

Women’s crimes are among the topics that deserve attention because of the risks they pose for the family and society, the fact the perpetrator is the person of women which is the basis of family building and welfare, since women are known from time immemorial and their increasing demand for prostitution and adultery crimes, abortion crimes, and murder of newborns babies, all these crimes are still committed by the women in addition to other crimes in which she interjected herself, as a result of the development witnessed in all fields of live, among these crimes is its strong entry into the drug world. From this standpoint, and in the face of the significant increase in women’s crimes, The Algerian Legislator has addressed every woman’s crime with legal texts punishing these criminal acts, and has not singled them out with different penalties for the penalties for men, except in some crimes such as the crime of murder newborn, is the mother is from she murdered her newborn. And the crime of aborting woman for herself, as her punishment differs from that of a miscarriage. It should be noted that the crime of adultery committed by woman is governed by special procedural rules stipulated by the Algerian Legislator in the code of criminal procedures, the later of which was handcuffed by the public prosecutor’s office to initiate the public action. On this basis, the Algerian Legislator punishes criminal woman for all crimes committed by them with penalties stipulated in the Algerian Penal Code and the laws that supplement it.
