dc.description.abstract Long-Distance Quantum Communication is a very important resource in our word, but with the large subscriber members its distribution is very difficult due to the exponential losses of light in optical fibres. As a possible solution consists in the use of satellite transmission with quantum repeaters, based on (QEC) Quantum Error Correction. Satellite communication idea based on free-space optical links can be used, achieving better loss-distance scaling with large scal covrage. We propose to combine quantum repeaters and satellite links, into a scheme that allows to achieve Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) over global distances with a small number of intermediate satellite nodes fr_FR
