<link>http://depot.umc.edu.dz/handle/123456789/1542</link>
Denhadji, Loubna; Kayoueche, Fatima Zohra
Algeria, like other OIE member countries and WHO, has developed epidemiological surveillance networks across all wilayas to combat zoonoses that cause animal health and public health problems.&#13;
Zoonoses are the major concern of veterinary and human health services.&#13;
The objective of this work is i. To update the epidemiology of rabies, tuberculosis (TB) and animal brucellosis, ii. To assess the functioning of the RES in the Skikda region, as well as its critical points, iii. To take stock of the epidemiological situation of these zoonoses in humans.&#13;
A first survey was carried out with the services of the Directorate of Agricultural Services (DSA), where data on the epidemiological situation of zoonoses were collected from the archives (2011 to 2015). A second survey was carried out among 76 veterinary practitioners (private and state), the questionnaire focused on the knowledge and functioning of the RES. A third survey focused on zoonoses in humans for 5 successive years using data from the CSP (2011 to 2015). The fourth survey was carried out among 14 doctors (SEMEP) of the DSP on the evolution of rabies, tuberculosis and&#13;
brucellosis in humans and the knowledge of animal RES.&#13;
Data processing was done with the Excel 2007 software for the DSA and DSP surveys, and the SPSS version 24 software for surveys of veterinarians and doctors.&#13;
In 5 years, no cases of brucellosis and / or tuberculosis have been recorded in sheep and goats. Cases of rabies declined from 2011 to 2015, the incidence rate fell from 0.012% in 2011 to 0.006% in 2015.&#13;
The incidence rate of bovine TB increased from 0.013% in 2011 to 0.035% in 2015. As for the incidence rate of  brucellosis of 0.0005%, it doubled in 2015. By analyzing data on incidence rates of the main zoonoses we see a re-emergence of tuberculosis In bovines and extra-pulmonary tuberculosis (PET) in humans, from 258 cases in 2011to 361ca ses in2015.&#13;
The eradication of major zoonotic diseases can not be achieved without close cooperation between the DSA and the DSP. Awareness of livestock keepers and the human population goes hand in hand with the application of zoonotic control measures (screening, vaccination) in order to reduce the risks.

A retrospective control case study was carried out on 41 farms belonging to the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi, with the aim of determining the risk factors and also the protective factors associated with the epidemic of foot and mouth disease of 2014.&#13;
The qualitative questions were aimed at collecting general information on farms, risk factors for the introduction of foot-and-mouth disease (the location of the farm, the operation of the farm, the movement of personnel, the movement of animals, Moving vehicles) and health and medical protections factors, as well as questions to get information about farm officials and their skills.&#13;
The results of the descriptive study show that several factors are present, the wilaya climate favors the transmission of the foot-and-mouth virus even at short distances, the anarchic distribution of cattle breeding controlled by the nature of the region, and The culture of the population, generates an aspect of agglomeration and farming practices favor the transmission of the disease.&#13;
 	The analytical study shows that common grazing is the most likely risk factor in the transmission of foot-and-mouth disease between farms with an Odds ratio of 5.1944 within an estimated confidence interval between 1.2798 and 21.083; And that vaccination of cattle is a protective factor against infection by this virus with an Odds ratio of 0.0611 and an estimated confidence interval between 0.0068 and 0.5477.&#13;
The results also showed that the incrimination of seniority in breeding practice with two opposing categories, the first between 10 and 20 years as a protective factor with an Odds ratio of 0.2051 and a confidence interval between 0.0536 and 0.7847 and The second over 20 years as a risk factor with an Odds ratio of 7.7727 and a confidence interval between 1.4162 and 42.6611.

Ghougal, khireddine; Benmakhlouf, Abdelmalek
The lameness of cattle are common and represent the 3rd Pattern of consultation after mastitis and infertility.&#13;
They are becoming more frequent in the context of current breeding. They are of various etiologies, and their localization on the locomotor apparatus is variable.The survey we carried out in twenty dairy farms in Oum El Bouaghi made it possible to establish the prevalence of the lestions and the diseases encountered thus the main risk factors related to the appearance of these epidemic diseases.&#13;
At the individual level, the variability of the lesions may be related to race and / or parity, milk production for certain lesions and diseases (Dermatitis interdigitalis (60%) and Digital dermatitis (55%)), as suggested in the bibliography. At the scale of the herd, other factors (building environment, cleanliness, place available ... feeding ( laminitis (30%) , sanitation). This study proposes useful tools for the practical and differential diagnosis of bovine podal diseases. Close collaboration between veterinarians and other cattle-raising professionals seems essential for the implementation of livestock audits for collective podal diseases.

Rezzag, El Tayeb; Benmakhlouf, Abdelmalek
A cross-sectional study was conducted to estimate the frequency and the distribution of&#13;
three communicable diseases (Brucellosis, Tuberculosis and Foot-and-Mouth Disease) in the district of Souk Ahras in north-eastern Algeria, between November 2015 and June 2016.&#13;
Obtained results on tuberculosis and brucellosis during the year of 2015 showed No significant difference in the suspected mean annual frequencies by veterinarians and those reported by the DSA of Souk Ahras district, with 5.37% for Tuberculosis and 2.50% for Brucellosis. Only FMD with a frequency of 4.58% was significantly different, where the frequency reported by veterinarians was higher than that reported by the DSA.
